Personal Bio

Meet Structural Engineer, Brad Scheuer. Brad graduated from Penn State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Historic Preservation and Conservation from the Universidade do Minho and a Master of Engineering in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions from the Czech Technical University in Prague.

Before joining Structural Solutions, Brad worked at several small consulting engineering firms in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, where he contributed to large healthcare and pharmaceutical projects as well as commercial and residential projects.

Brad has been working full time in structural engineering since 2010 and became a licensed Professional Engineer in 2016. He has in-depth experience in the analysis and design of structures using steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and cold-formed steel.

Outside of work, Brad lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and son, and enjoys travel, cooking, history, reading, and sports.
